I always thought it was a shame that she never wrote more novels.KarenSihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17875454663363953921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5858244622515515031.post-47921657149868033922012-01-11T07:51:00.814-05:002012-01-11T07:51:00.814-05:00I also posted about a Bronte sister...

I've always been reluctant because of its wild and passionate plot. But now I'm intrigued with how she pulls the emotions of the reader. The first quote you shared is so poetic.

I think I read somewhere that Emily's manuscript for her next novel (I'm assuming it was the sequel you mentioned) was destroyed by Charlotte because it wasn't 'good.' But I don't know if that's really true.

Thank you for your wonderful post Renee! :)Katherine Coxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07257141301467724458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5858244622515515031.post-12599590374082541972012-01-05T02:01:19.638-05:002012-01-05T02:01:19.638-05:00Your post is wonderful and I love the quotes you&#...Your post is wonderful and I love the quotes you've chosen. I think it brilliant and Emily incredible, though WH seems to have fallen out of favor these days. I do find Emily's poetry and WH to be discordant--odd that such fervent and fairly orthodox religious poetry could come from the same pen as WH.

Great post and I loved the quotes you provided.JaneGShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11094501834387622997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5858244622515515031.post-81005885786712195912012-01-04T18:00:25.063-05:002012-01-04T18:00:25.063-05:00I think I need to try and reading Wuthering Height...I think I need to try and reading Wuthering Heights again.
