Mailbox Monday & Update

Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

Books that arrived this week:

Movies the arrived this week:

Last Week on Simply Angela

Last week Simply Angela contained everything from Sun Gods (Sun GodSeeks…Surrogate?) to Scottish Lairds (The MacGregor’s Lady) who has a fancy for Rum Buns. The posting was spotty due to technical issues, but I did manage to post two reviews for two amazing—and completely different—romance books as well as a tasty treat inspired by The MacGregor’s Lady.

Coming up on the blog:

Reviews:

I am finally going to post my review for Darkening Around Me by Barbara J. Hancock and I cannot wait to share this lovely little gem of gothic fiction with all you lovelies.

My review for Waking Up Pregnant by Mira Lyn Kelly will also go live week.  Those of you who read Waking up Married by Mira Lyn Kelly will be please to find out what happened to Connor’s friend, Jeff.

Other Events:

25 Release Day Blitz for Sun God Seeks…Surrogate? by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff and Angel Seduced by Jaime Rush

I will also be sharing my misadventures in knitting as well as two brilliant Classic British Literature DVD collections from PBS.
