Day 4: Frog Tea Infuser and Paris Blend Tea
I
had intended to post a new teapot each day, then I received this little lovely
in the mail as an early birthday present and I couldn’t pass up the chance to
try it out.
This
is a Ribbit Tea Infuser made by Jo!e. It is the cutest—and quirkiest—tea
infuser that I’ve ever seen. Who wouldn’t love a floating frog tea infuser? I
was surprised at how large the tea basket was, it gives ample room for the tea leaves
to expand and would hold also hold a teabag.
The
tea that I’m drinking is Paris blend from Harney and Sons. It’s a black tea
with hints of fruit, citrus, vanilla, and caramel. The black current flavor is
at the forefront with a chaser of vanilla and caramel. Very bright and smooth.
The
cup and saucer I’m using is what I’ve deemed my I’ve-had-a-bad-day-cup. It
holds 2 and half cups of tea and it’s keep it nice and warm.
Ahhhs! What a cutie! My aunt loves froggies so I'll have to check into this one for her.
ReplyDeleteOh he is cute and whoa yeah big if that's a large tea cup. I have one that I'm guessing is by the same company. It's got the same text but is a tall mug with a flare at the top. They made hot chocolate and coffee ones as well so I got one of each :D
ReplyDeleteI think you can order them from JoieShop.com.
ReplyDeleteYep, it's a large tea cup and the frog's a pretty good size. I think it's made by Shonfeld. I didn't know they had hot chocolate and coffee ones, I'll have to look for those.
ReplyDeleteYup that's what mine is I believe. I'll have to take a pic. I got them a few years back. Broke the handle off one but can't seem to toss it. lol
ReplyDeleteI've had a few cups that I've broken the handles off of but they seem to have staying power. lol
ReplyDeleteHow adorable.
ReplyDeleteLove the infuser.
I found an infuser at Pier One that is a book. That was last year.
Thanks for sharing.
