SEASON'S KISSES . . .Wild child Chloe Thompson can't believe how much things have changed. She still can't get enough of her sexy husband Sawyer, but he seems to prefer working to impending fatherhood. So tonight, a very pregnant Chloe is escaping her troubles at the town Christmas party.Sheriff Sawyer Thompson hopes surprising Chloe at the party will give him a chance to set things right. But as the snow begins to fall and the wind rages, he wonders whether he can make it back in time. While Mother Nature conspires to keep Sawyer and Chloe apart, an unexpected arrival will require them to kiss and make up . . . and ring in the happiest holiday Lucky Harbor has ever seen.
Yay!!!
Chloe and Sawyer are back!!! In case you haven’t realized it yet, Chloe and
Sawyer are my favorite residents of Lucky Harbor and I am over the moon that Jill
Shalvis wrote a short story featuring them.
Things
are a bit rocky between Sawyer and Chloe. He’s taken on extra work with the DEA
that will have him gone for a week and Chloe, who is eight and a half months
pregnant, is convinced that Sawyer is trying to avoid her. Chloe decides going
to the town’s Christmas party is exactly what she needs to escape troubles.
When
Sawyer arrives at the party hoping to surprise Chloe, he gets a surprise himself
when he discovers that Chloe’s in labor and the snowstorm has them stranded.
Now
they have to kiss and make up before their child enters the world.
I love
it when authors revisit their characters and Merry Christmas, Baby was absolutely
amazing.
Chloe
and Sawyer are such determined individuals it was brilliant to see what
happened after they married. Given their personalities, I had a feeling they
were still going to clash every once and a while, and I wasn’t wrong. Plus,
Chloe is crazy hormonal which only adds to the intensity.
Overall,
I enjoyed this short story. It was lovely to catch up with two of my favorite
characters.
Merry
Christmas, Baby is the perfect book to read on a cold snowy day curled up with
a warm blanket and a cuppa hot tea.

Breaking rules and breaking heartsFree-spirited Chloe lives life on the edge. Unlike her soon-to-be married sisters, she isn’t ready to settle into a quiet life running their family’s newly renovated inn. But soon her love of trouble–and trouble with love-draws the attention of the very stern, very sexy sheriff who’d like nothing better than to tame her wild ways.Suddenly Chloe can’t take a misstep without the sheriff hot on her heels. His rugged swagger and his enigmatic smile are enough to make a girl beg to be handcuffed. For the first time, instead of avoiding the law, Chloe dreams of surrender. Can this rebel find a way to keep the peace with the straitlaced sheriff? Or will Chloe’s colorful past keep her from a love that lasts . . . and the safe haven she truly wants in a town called Lucky Harbor?

I've only read a different Christmas novella from this series and loved it. Eventually I need to sit down and read straight through. And yes, I love it when there are follow-ups for favorite couples.
Aws yay. They're two of my favorites as well. I loved their original story. can't wait to have time for this one :)
