So,
the Presents imprint is known for its larger-than-life heroes but sadly this
one just didn’t work for me. Saladin just kind of grated on my nerves. He’s in
your face and pushy and his approach just crawled under my skin. Olivia did
pique my interest but once I figured out her deal, the book fell flat and,
sadly, this one became a DNF.
If The
Sheikh’s Christmas Conquest was turned into a movie, Sharon Kendrick has
cast these two stars to play the main characters.
In
a movie version of the book, I’d like Saladin to be played by the man who is
currently one of England’s biggest heart-throbs. He’s actually Irish, but he’s a great actor
and I think he’d make a brilliant Sheikh.
Allow me to introduce you to Aiden Turner...
Olivia
should be played by Isla Fisher, who is an engaging actress with exactly the
same hair color as Livvy. She’s best
known for playing comedy but I think she has a great range and could easily do
justice to my wounded heroine, who’s had such a tough time.
