But just one kiss, just one touch, just one smile from beautiful Casey has this lifelong bachelor flirting with the idea of forever. So I definitely need more Kim Amos romances in my life because I loved this book. I devoured it in one sitting because it was simply too amazing to put down. Abe and Casey definitely had me turning the pages. And her list totally had me giggling.
All I want for Christmas…
Five ways I want my tree lit this holiday.

1.     I want to start out being kissed under the mistletoe, but I want to finish with sex in bed.
2.     I want to be naughty, not nice, between the sheets.
3.     I want 12 orgasms from sex—one for each of the 12 days of Christmas.
4.     I want my stocking stuffed, repeatedly on Christmas Day.
5.     I want toys wrapped with bows—that are all for adults.

Here’s what’s going on. Casey moved to White Pine to start over. She’s not looking to settle down, she just wants to have a little bit of fun. So when she’s stuck in an elevator with a sexy firefighter, she knows he would be the perfect man to help her with her naughty to-do list.

Abe has no problems hooking up with a woman as long as their relationship ends in ninety days although one kiss from Casey has him questioning his rule about not settling down. He wants her in his bed, in his heart, and in his life, yet Casey only wants him to help her tick off her list. He’s determined to win her over but will his need to settle down drive her away?

"Take it,” he said. “You’re freezing.”

“I’m fine—the Rolling Pin is just up the street.” The rest of the group was already moving on without her. She should shrink off Abe’s coat and join them.

Except for the fact that she was already warmer, and part of her was thinking she didn’t want to take his coat off—ever.

He leaned in, his arm snaking around her. She froze. Was he going to kiss her again? Out in public like this?

Instead, he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out his cell and wallet. “I can’t trust you with my credit cards. You might rack up charges for Internet porn.”

He was as stone-faced as ever. Even when a brittle wind whipped past them, he barely flinched. Casey burrowed deeper into his coat, feigning disinterest. “It’s your phone I would want more. I could have texted all your contacts to tell them you were being treated for erectile dysfunction.”

Abe stepped closer, towering above her. “We both know I don’t have that problem,” he growled into her ear.

Casey and Abe were so great together. They were a couple that I really wanted to see succeed and find their happy. And they had great banter.

Casey was really an easy heroine to like. She’s realistically flawed, she’s made mistakes, and she doesn’t really feel as though she fits in anywhere. After the death of her parents, she had a lot of responsibility thrown at her and because of this, she doesn’t feel like she’s ready to settle down. She wants to be able to walk on the wild side for a while and, thanks to the ladies of the recipe exchange, she now has a naughty to-do list and she plans on ticking off every item with Abe.

Abe was very refreshing. He’s getting ready to turn forty, and I liked that he was an older hero. Everyone knows him as this playboy and he’s content with that since his relationships have a ninety day limit. Although a health scare has him questioning his life and he realizes he want to settle down with Casey. He doesn’t mind helping her with her list, but he wants more.

Abe and Casey were so good together, even if she was a bit reluctant to admit it. They had instant chemistry and were drawn to each other but she wasn’t ready to settle down. They had a bit of work to do so I really enjoyed that this wasn’t one of those instant love romances.

There’s a dash of mystery thrown in with someone setting fires around town and I really enjoyed seeing how this not only brought Abe and Casey closer, but it allowed Casey to reflect on what she wanted out of life.

Okay, so there is a naughty to-do list and the heroine does want her stocking stuffed repeatedly on Christmas day, but this one—while handcuffs were indeed involved—wasn’t over-the-top naughty. You wouldn’t be crossed off of Santa’s nice list for reading this one, so if you’re worried about this being more than a mainstream romance it’s not. Think of it as vanilla with just a dash of spice.

Overall, this was truly a feel good Christmas romance. The characters are quirky yet charming and White Pine is one of those towns, even though it’s fictional, you want to pack up and visit.
